Additional Learning Support
Supporting every learner, every day
At Yennora Public School, we believe every child deserves the support they need to learn with confidence. Our school provides personalised learning programs, adjustments and specialist assistance to ensure all students, including those with disabilities and additional learning needs, feel safe, included and ready to succeed.
We work closely with families, classroom teachers and specialist staff to understand each student’s strengths and needs. Together, we create learning plans that support academic growth, wellbeing and meaningful participation in all aspects of school life.

How we know when a student needs support
We identify learning needs through:
- noticing changes in learning, behaviour or engagement
- reviewing assessment results and classroom progress
- listening when parents or carers raise questions or concerns
Adjustments are always planned together with parents and carers, and reviewed regularly to make sure they continue to meet each child’s needs. If you think your child may need extra support, please contact us.
