Classrooms and Learning Areas
Our classrooms are calm, comfortable spaces where students feel ready to learn each day. Teachers create organised, engaging environments with clear routines, learning materials and evidence-based resources that support student focus and participation. From small-group work to whole-class lessons, each room is designed to meet the learning needs of K–6 students in a safe and supportive setting.
Our Library
Our library is a warm and welcoming place for reading, research and imagination. Students visit regularly for borrowing, literacy lessons and quiet reading time. The library also supports our multilingual community with a growing range of books that reflect diverse cultures, languages and interests. This space encourages curiosity, a love of books and confident reading.
Outdoor Areas and Play Spaces
Our outdoor spaces give students room to explore, play and stay active. These include:
- shaded playgrounds
- open grass areas
- sport courts
- fitness and PE zones
- quiet areas for rest and wellbeing
Students use these areas for sport, PDHPE, lunchtime play and whole-school activities. Each space is supervised and designed to help students build friendships, confidence and physical skills.
Support Unit Spaces
Our Support Unit classrooms are carefully designed to meet the learning, sensory and wellbeing needs of students who benefit from additional support. These rooms may include:
- calm spaces
- sensory tools
- hands-on learning materials
- visual supports
- specialised resources
Our Support Unit staff create safe, structured environments where students feel included and supported to engage in meaningful learning every day.
Specialist Learning Spaces
Students also learn in a variety of specialist spaces across the school, such as:
- CAPA areas for visual arts, drama and creative work
- RFF rooms where students participate in additional learning activities
- technology or small-group rooms for targeted support
- intervention spaces for LaST, EAL/D and reading programs
These areas help students build confidence, practise new skills and experience learning beyond their regular classroom.
